This was the team I worked with all season, really had no injuries, just minor wrists etc. Did two races this winter, the Neckbone 2 days of 50 miles, finished third. Canadian Challenge 350 miles, finished fourth.

They are all excellent reliable dogs, I only started the season training 15 dogs, so there are no slouches here, this is the core of our kennel which we worked towards for 6 years. We put together an excellent 12  dog team for the Canadian Challenge, which finished strong, looked so great that we won the best kept team award and had the fastest run to the finish line. Plenty of racing left in all these dogs. All have race experience, would be an excellent team to run distance or mid distance with, some dogs would be great for stage.

Boots - 6yo neutered male, excellent tough dog always in there working hard. Has seen the finish line of just about every 200-350 mile race we have done in the last few years. Eric Lancer and T&B Streeper lines. $600

Fig - 3yo neutured male, Fig really came into his own this year and was an awesome reliable dog with lots of attitude. Had him neutered so he would hold weight better and its worked out great, he held his weight really well this season. Great appetite, muscles up extremely well, drives hard, fast dog. Mulga  - 3yo female, Mulga is a fast little dog and a leader, sister to Fig, great at being loose, hard working dog. She has raced everywhere from Quebec to Saskatchewan and always done well. $500

Platty - 4yo female Super leader, I cant say enough about this dog, we knew she was special but this season especially in the challenge race she just really took it to a whole new level. Ran every step of the race in lead and just loved it. Came to the finish line and looked like she had hardly even run, after 350 miles! Amazing attitude, intense focus to move forward down the trail, amazing appetite while running. Super tough dog, always wants to get up and go. Butcher, Ellis and King lines $2000

Puma - 6yo female main leader. Puma is an excellent leader, loves running up front never gets tired of it. She ran every step of the challenge in lead with Platty, did an awesome job. Running to the finish line after 300 miles she was still loping on the flats, driving hard trying to get the team running faster. Has been leading every race team since we bought this dog three years ago, just an excellent reliable leader. J Phillip lines $800

Roo - 4yo neutured male. Roo is a big strong, cuddly affectionate boy. He is the kind of dog that when just he hits the tug you can really feel it through the handle bar! Works super hard, drives hard, loped most of the Canadian Challenge. Leads well, great at gee and haw. Fast enough for stage racing, he would be a great dog in the mountains with all the speed and power. Butcher, Ellis and King lines $800

Bell - 3yo female leader. Bell drives hard and a well focused reliable leader, good with gee and haw. Always eager to go, great attitude even during a long tough training run. Great coat, holds weight really well. Butcher, Ellis and King lines $800



Levi - 6yo female, works hard especially up hills just gives it a super effort every time. Drives hard, steady consistent dog, well experienced, great attitude, never gives up. Buser and Swingely lines, line bred Peppy.  Lots of racing left yet, she had an excellent season $600

Squeekie - 3yo female, leader, great with commands. Squeekie is a hard driving, fast dog got lots of speed, sometimes works too hard earlier in the run, may just need a bit more time to mature and pace herself. Finished the Neckbone, 2 days of 50 miles. Butcher, Ellis and King lines $500

Thunder - 6yo male, he is Mr Reliable, always there pulling hard. Has made every race team and has never been dropped. He always gives it everything he has to the end.
